Most the shirts were cut tags or faded off the modern printed tag. This store is not really legit as far as vintage.

It’s more like a Vintage Tee Shirt Museum than a Store. Most of the tee shirts here are pretty awesome, but each shirt is so outrageously overpriced that I actually don’t even think they want you to buy them. $125 for a shirt? A tee shirt? Really, man?

Oh, and you better follow the rules on the posted signs - don’t you dare take any photos of the tee shirts. Don’t even think about it. We all know vintage shirts are incredibly shy... and the last thing you want to do is hurt the poor tee shirts’ feelings.

You monster.

Stopped by while out in Fairfax and had a great time browsing and checking out a solid inventory of interesting shirts. Had a great conversation with the owner and staff about shirts, music, the store, and just life in general 🙂 Purchased 4 shirts, $215 total.

What counts as vintage?
Retro =/= Vintage. Retro is imitative of a style, fashion, or design from the recent past. True vintage shirts need to be at least 20 years old. It's 2023, vintage shirts are now from 2002 and older. Other factors include single stitch vs double stitch, material, and where the shirt was produced (USA vs Europe, etc) but more importantly (to me at least) is the sense of nostalgia and timelessness.

Price.
The best vintage is $0. You can find good vintage for as little as $1 but we can't expect thrift store pricing all the time and you can't expect it at a vintage store, they are not the same. It's difficult to find good quality vintage items in thrift stores these days. Vintage shops have explicitly sourced, curated, and cleaned their inventory. How much you're willing to spend is how much you should spend.

Inventory.
Clean and well organized with a wide range of subject matter. I'm not a vintage tee connoisseur but still prefer real vintage to mass produced vintage-like shirts. I just like cool shirts and this place delivers.

Don't shop here. None of their stuff is vintage or worth the price. Just found a "vintage" shirt I paid them 55 for online NEW For 20 bucks. And they don't allow for returns so once you're scammed, you're scammed. Staff also has no clue what they're talking about. Rude and idiotic. Stay away.

It's awesome because all the tees are badass and organized by band but they were selling an unofficial GNR tee for 95 dollars + tax while I got my new official US tour for 30 at the Dodgers... not cool.

They have all the top bands and hard to get T shirts you could ever want. I couldn't believe how many times I have searched for something from the 1970's and have been told it's not available. Yes it is. I found them here. Thank you. I will be back.
