I’ve been to this store with my friends multiple times & the staffs are really helpful with fun personalities, especially this lady that’s always dressed in the most fashionable sense. I think her name is Saba, not sure I typed it correctly. Her personality & professionalism made for a good experience at the shop. I would definitely be visiting again!!

This store is so nice! There is so much variety with good prices! Staff was incredibly nice and helped me out while I was looking for my student email for a discount. I’ll most definitely be passing by every time I go to Toronto.

Best art supply store in the GTA. They have practically everything you need in regards to art supplies. They even have items you cannot find in other art supply stores in Toronto.

A good art supply store that suffers the same problem all Toronto art supply stores do, they lack a good selection of stretcher bars. Really wish Above Ground would match the standards you see in Europe with stretcher bar selection (in metric!) for every centimetre. The small selection of every-other-inch bars hinder creativity. However if Above Ground could pull it off, they’d be the best supply store in the city, not to mention foster a broader creative output for the painters at the art school next door. Inevitably one of these shops will raise the bar and carry a broader selection in metric. It’d be cool if this shop did.

A great art supply store with a wide variety of brands. they have various size Arches paper and blocks for watercolour. I found watercolour brushes I needed. Staff are very nice and helpful
